Trango Tower Expedition: Scale the 6,286m Pinnacle

Description

The Trango Towers are a stunning collection of granite spires found on the northern flank of the Baltoro Glacier in Baltistan, Pakistan. These impressive formations belong to the Baltoro Muztagh, a subrange within the Karakoram Range. Known for their towering cliffs, the Towers present some of the toughest rock climbing challenges globally. The tallest among them, Great Trango Tower, reaches an elevation of 6,286 meters (20,608 feet). It's important to note that the precise elevations of these peaks are often debated, with variations in reported heights. Notably, the east face of Great Trango Tower boasts the world’s highest nearly vertical drop, making it a coveted destination for climbers.
